CITY OF WYOMING PROJECTS
Division Avenue Watermain – 36th St to 44th St (including work on Maplelawn) (Dykema Excavating)
Work is scheduled to begin on April 21.
Wyoming City Center Bridge Project (Anlaan Construction)
The contractor is working on the pedestrian bridge over 28th Street. Lane closures are planned on 28th Street on Monday from 9am to 3pm to place the concrete bridge deck. Hook Avenue will be blocked during this time with local traffic re-routed.
Wyoming City Center Trail Project (Katerberg-Verhage)
The contractor is working on the concrete trail and utility crossings on DeHoop Avenue. Periodic daytime lane closures are planned for pouring concrete and utility work.
PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
Benteler Automotive Fireline (4011 Stafford Ave., SW) – Dan Hoe Excavating
Watermain starting this week.
Corewell Health Watermain & Fireline (300 – 36th St., SW) – Connan Inc.
Watermain testing to begin after Holtwood Street watermain is complete. Right Turn lane and traffic signal on 36th Street scheduled later this spring.
Godwin Mercado (36th St. Market) Watermain – GVL Excavating
Fireline Testing in progress.
Holtwood Street (old GM Plant off Buchanan Ave) – Dan Hoe Excavating
Watermain tie-in scheduled for mid-week, which will require a short term shut down of the watermain in Buchanan Avenue. Contractor plans to install storm sewer and start road construction this week.
Malta Woods (N. off 56th, E of Wilson) – Fischer Idema
Watermain passed all testing, tie-in planned for later this week. Contractor plans to connect storm sewer in 56th Street in a couple of weeks.
Rivertown Valley Phase 7 (Reserve Drive/Nile Drive area) – Schippers Excavating
Contractor constructing storm and sanitary sewers.
