Week of June 29, 2026
CITY OF WYOMING PROJECTS
Burton Street Reconstruction - Burlingame to Clyde Park (including work on Osmer) (Anlaan Corp)
Contractor is tying in the Phase 1 A water main and starting water services in the first section of water main in Burton. Phase 1 B water main in Burton will be tested this week.
Contractor road building in Osmer Avenue with sidewalks planned for the end of the week.
Boone Avenue Watermain Reconstruction - Lacrosse to 36th Street (Wyoming Exc)
Contractor completed the 36th St water main. The contractor is planning on doing the side street water main connections and water services next, with work starting at the north end and progressing south. 36th Street is fully open.
56th Street and Byron Center Dual Left Turn Lane - (Brenner Exc)
Utility work on 56th will begin with work contained behind the curb on 56th. SB Byron Center lane closure will be lifted as soon as the top course of pavement is placed.
Wyoming Local Resurfacing Program - (Michigan Paving and Materials, Inc)
Work is anticipated to start in Mid-July.
PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
3738 – 52nd Street - Salmon’s View Residential Development (Excel Exc)
Work start date has been delayed, likely starting after July 4. Contractor is currently working on site grading.
2931 Burlingame Ave - Shea Ravines Residential Development (Thornaple Exc)
Site development is in progress. No impacts to Burlingame Avenue this week.
300 36th Street – Corewell Heath (Pioneer Construction)
Curb has been removed and is scheduled for replacement on June 29. Traffic markings are scheduled for July 13.
