The City of Wyoming, a vibrant and diverse community of 75,000, located just a short drive from the shores of Lake Michigan and surrounded by abundant outdoor recreational opportunities, is excited to announce a new Market Manager position. This opening comes as part of our ongoing expansion with the launch of a new facility.

Our recreation services team delivers over 300 recreation, leisure, athletic, health/wellness, and special events programs annually across 21 parks, multiple schools, libraries, and our senior center. We are dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of our community by providing engaging, well-maintained spaces and programming.

As the Market Manager, you will be responsible for leading the planning, organizing, and supervision of programs and rentals at the Market. This role includes managing farmers' markets, marketing efforts, rental operations, and overseeing part-time staff. You will ensure all offerings are delivered in a welcoming, well-maintained environment that reflects the needs of our community.

Qualified candidates must demonstrate leadership qualities, have good powers of observation, be able to work under pressure, have excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills, be able to exercise independent judgment, and have the ability to maintain a positive attitude in all circumstances.
