The City of Wyoming (City) will hold a public meeting on proposed water system improvement projects for the purpose of receiving comments from interested persons. Prein&Newhof is working with the City to develop a project planning document to apply for funding from the State Of Michigan.
The public meeting will be held at the City of Wyoming Council Chambers at 4 p.m. on May 8, 2023 at Wyoming City Hall at 1155 28th Street SW, Wyoming, MI 49509.
The purpose of the proposed project is to construct the first 11 Miles of a third water transmission main and pressure tanks at the water treatment plant. These projects will increase the capacity and reliability of the drinking water transmission system. The total project cost estimate of $83,900,000 is recommended to the City Council for approval to seek funding from the State of Michigan.
