The Reserve - Granger Development

Posted on Monday, August 28, 2017 | News & Announcements

The Wyoming City Council, Planning Commission and city staff have recently been reviewing a request to rezone property at the corner of 56th and Wilson Ave for an updated proposal regarding The Reserve planned unit development (PUD).  On August 15 the Planning Commission denied the rezoning request by a vote of 4-3. Their recommendation to deny has been forwarded to the City Council who will discuss the matter at their meeting on September 5.

As several community members have shown interest in the project, we are posting the following documents (click the green hyperlinks) to provide more background information to the public. Please submit any questions to the City Manager's office by using this contact form.

PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENTS

It is important to note that a Planned Unit Development includes an Overall Development Plan. Each subsequent phase of construction shall comply with the plan and shall be reviewed for approval by the Planning Commission through detailed site plans or subdivision plats. The Overall Development Plan may be amended by the Planning Commission through an open meeting process.

The following are several PUDs that have been approved in the City of Wyoming. After reviewing the materials, consider how these neighborhoods have developed in comparison with how they were originally proposed.
