The City of Wyoming is beginning its annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds allocation process for FY 2020-2021. It is seeking interested parties that may wish to seek funds that would meet community needs based on at least one of the following national objectives: 1) Benefit to low- and moderate-income (LMI) persons; 2) Aid in the prevention or elimination of slums or blight.

Requests for funding consideration must be made by submitting a Letter of Intent. To obtain a Letter of Intent application, call (616) 530-7266 or email Plan_info@wyomingmi.gov. Deadline for Letter of Intent submittal is 5:00 p.m. October 17, 2019 to Community Development, Wyoming City Hall, 1155 – 28th Street, SW, Wyoming, MI 49509. Letters of Intent will be reviewed by the Community Development Committee. Agencies will be notified by November 14, 2019 if they are invited to present to the CDBG Committee for funding consideration. The City of Wyoming will insure that all persons, contractors and service providers will have equal opportunity to participate in these programs, regardless of their race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, marital status, disability, height, weight or source of income.
