Kent District Library - Wyoming Branch
“The Wyoming Branch Library is a part of the Kent District Library (KDL), a system of 18 libraries in Kent County. The library branch is a cooperative effort between the City of Wyoming and KDL. The City owns and maintains the building while KDL provides the materials and staffing to operate the library, together creating a community environment that benefits all residents of Wyoming.
The branch features two fireplaces, one in a Quiet Reading Room with another in a New Books browsing area. The library also features a Water Wall which provides white noise, fascination for small children, and a soothing atmosphere. Children seek out the “shape” window seats for a quiet reading moment.
In addition to the library, the building contains a community room, conference room and the Bookmark. For use and reservation information, refer to the Information and Reservation Packet, the Bookmark Rental Application, the Meeting Room Rental Application or call 616-530-3164.
The Wyoming Branch of the Kent District Library has a play space for children! KDLville is an interactive early literacy play space that contains carefully chosen toys and activities that help young children get ready to read, write, and listen. Visit frequently as activities rotate throughout the year and there is always something new for children and caregivers to explore together. Look for KDLville activities in the youth area of the library.
