        Summer is just around the corner and what better way to welcome the new season than to try

        something new! Come explore the WSC today and learn about all the programs we offer to promote healthy
        and active lifestyles for older adults in Wyoming and surrounding communities. We have everything ranging from
        fitness classes, a game room, special events, travel programs, a fitness center, dance classes, and so much more!

         NEW                                            Join us for a self defense class specifically adapted and modified
                                                        for seniors. This class is taught by a 3rd Degree Black Belt and is

         Senior Self Defense                            intended to raise consciousness of self-awareness and confidence in all
                                                        surroundings.  Walking cane techniques will also be taught.

        Discounted Go! Bus Ticket Program

        We offer reduced-price tickets for the Inter-urban Transit Partnership (ITP) Go! Bus service.  Funding for this discounted
        ticket program is provided by the Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan.  If you are 60 or older, live in Kent County, and
        are an approved Go! Bus rider you may apply to purchase the discounted tickets at the Wyoming Senior Center.

        Join us for lunch provided by Meals on Wheels Western Michigan
        Meals on Wheels Western Michigan offers a hot, nutritious meal at the Wyoming Senior Center. Some favorites are baked potato bar, chicken
        cordon bleu, and roasted turkey. Call (616)726-1274 for more information.
        60 and older: $3 suggested donation per meal
